    Dear SEO Press Team,

We use the Oxygen builder on a few sites and have seen your instructions for altering the Meta Description Template structure inside the Single Post Types – Post(s)

In the screenshot on your website it shows to remove the existing ‘Meta description template’ structure and replace it with only the following:
    %%oxygen%%

Is the solution above correct for sites where we create the posts in native Gutenberg but then display them using an Oxygen template?

Should there be any other data inside the ‘Meta description template’ or just %%oxygen%% ?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

    Best wishes,

    Lanx

    Hi,

    thank you for your patience.

%%oxygen%% can only be used if you have enable Oxygen compatibility from SEO, Tools, Compatibility Center tab.

However, be careful with this option, it can has side effects.

%%oxygen%% dynamic variable is useful if you want to tell SEOPress to get the beginning of your post content created by Oxygen for your meta description.

As usual, we strongly recommend to write your own custom meta description per post especially with page builders (because it will probably output useless /irrelevant texts in your meta desc).

Always test your settings and clear your cache if necessary.

    Hope that helps!
