Editing layout of a theme

  • Hey guys im trying to figure out how to edit the layout of my theme.
    The theme consists of (in order) header, featured bar, recent_cat, recent_posts, 2 column sidebar. I want to put a 1 column sidebar right before the 2 column sidebar. How would this be obtained?
