Editing l10n.php

    Hi!

    I edit the file l10n.php on ../wp-includes/l10n.php. I want to ask if when the wordpress updating again, l10n.php will be affected?

    Yes, it will be updated and you will lose all your customization.

    Further, messing with the core file may cause issues with:
    – plugins
    – themes
    – security

    In nutshell, its not a good idea.

    I only added a code, not really customizing the file. I am really having problem passing a value on $locale, that’s why i add the code on l10n.php file. Can you help me with this? ??

    Sorry. For the reasons I mentioned in my previous reply, I would not mess with the core files.

    NP, I think i found a solution anyway, putting my code on wp-config.php and passing a value on $locale there.

    wp-config.php will not be updated right?

    It should not be. However, if you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong.
