Editing file (inactive)

  • Hi,

    One of the files in my plugin is being shown as “inactive”

    Even after deleting the plugin and reinstalling the plugin seems to have no effect on the listing.

    Can anyone tell me how to get the file status back to “active”?

  • It is likely not compatible with your version of WP…what plugin (and version?)

    The plugin is running correctly. But just the file status says inactive – so that the changes I make are not running.

    Restoring the file didn’t work either.

    Hi,

    I tried the same operation on a wordpress installed on my machine. I am editing my own plugin – downml.

    The moment I make changes to the files, they become labelled as “inactive” – using the wordpress editor and using vim. This is preventing me from doing further development of the plugin.

    Anyone has any clue as to why this is happening?
