Editing event adds it to default category

    Hi Joe,

    I’ve noticed that in the latest version the default category is selected by default when you go into an event to edit it, which means that if you don’t notice this, and actively deselect the default category when saving your edits, the event is also added to the default category, regardless of which category it already belongs to.

    I’m guessing you didn’t mean for that behaviour to be occurring, and that this should only be happening for new events, or if a category is not selected on save?

    That is definitely not something that should happen, although I think I have a good idea what’s going on. I’ll get it fixed!

    OK, I spoke too fast. This seemed like it would be clear cut, but in my testing, I haven’t been able to reproduce the situation – I might need some more information.

    Is the checkbox actually checked, or is it unchecked but being automatically added? Can you describe in more detail anything about what’s going on?

    Well, that definitely proves that what I tested is correct, but the behavior isn’t matching. So I’ve got a little puzzle to work out.
