Editing Download Descriptions

    When uploading files in the front-end, I am able to enter a description for the download. This is great, as we are building a site for an herbal guild where many users may be contributing scanned copies of old texts. The expanded description becomes a necessity when dealing with old documents. However, I have not found any way to edit this description once the file is uploaded, either in the front end or the back end. is there a setting that I have missed? Is this something that could possibly be added to the plug-in?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback. Basically the possibility to edit the description was a feature of the paid version, but I have now updated the free version and added the description editor there. I think it makes more sense that way, as it is already possible to add the description using the front end uploader.

    So now, if you edit any file, you should see the editor at the bottom of the page.

    Hi again, my apologies for the hassle here. I decided not to move the feature to the free version after all.
