Editing/Changing Headers & Footers

  • I am using Yith Wonder with the basic WP Editor, all modules are up to date and we are hosted on Bluehost. I do have the Woocommerce plugin Active.

    Earlier this week when Editing a Page/Post I was able to Change/Swap the chosen Header/Footer. A few days ago These stopped appearing when opening “List”. All I can see is the body of the Page/Post.

    I am a relatively new user and suspect I am doing something wrong here!

    Can anyone help me get this functionality back please?

    Hello there,
    the recent update of WordPress, with version 6.5, changed a little bit the way to edit these templates. Nothing too scary and complicated, probably even better then how it used to be I have to say.

    You can now find headers and footer in the Editor > Patterns > Manage all template parts screen.

    If you want to change the header or footer used in one of the templates, you have to edit the template from Editor > Templates.
