Editing/Change the tax rate

    Hello, I have a question.
    I need to change the current tax rate assigned to all products to a higher one from 3%, I need to change it to 5%.

    If I edit the current tax rate of 3% and change it to 5%, will it automatically apply to the products previously added to it?

    I have “show gross prices” set in the system (if it is important)

    As I understand you chose the option “I will enter prices inclusive of tax”, correct?

    If you did, changing the tax rate under WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard Rates won’t affect the price of the products, as the system will calculate that the price you entered already has the taxes.

    So if a product is set to 100 and the taxes are 3% the system will calculate that the product price is 97 and the tax is 3. If you change to 5%, it would be 95 and 5.
