    Hi,

I’m not familiar with CSS nor HTML so I’m trying to modify the text in buttons and categories with the plugin Say What. Uptil now it doesn’t work. I tried ‘hello-elementor’ and ‘gwolle_gb’ in Text Field’, to no avail. Can you help me?

    Kind regards,

    Otto.

    Hi Otto,

I just tested and it works for me. Just make sure you fill in the right things. For example:

    • Original string: Submit
    • Text domain: gwolle-gb
    • New string: Zubmit

    Does this help you?

    Hi Marcel,

Thanks for your reply. Good to read that this works. For you, that is. ??

This is the concept guestbook I’m working on:

    https://moreismore.bike/test-gastenboek2/

    I changed the following text:

‘Gastenboekbericht *’ to ‘Gastenboekbericht * alternatief’
    and
    ‘Indienen’ to ‘Indienen alternatief’.
Both with ‘gwolle_gb’ as Text Domain.

Can you help me fix this?

    Kind regards,

    Otto.

    Hi Otto,

The text domain is gwolle-gb, not gwolle_gb.

And the original string is in English. Not sure if it changes translated text as well.

    Great, it works!

The main problem wasn’t the ‘-‘ or ‘_’ (I tried both, in despair ;)), the problem was the language. As soon as I changed the original string from ‘Indienen’ to ‘Submit’, it worked.

I don’t know if I can switch the gwolle-settings back to English; if not, I’ll have to look for the original text in the buttons.

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Otto.
