My problem when trying to add or edit the profile picture. The ability to custom what part of a picture you want to use as your profile picture. The ability to resize or move the crop box to another part of the picture doesn’t work, doesn’t move, does nothing but only allow the center picture to be used. It remains in the center of the uploaded picture, resizing the profile picture doesn’t work. Can’t pick what part of the picture you want to use or adjust the size. It just save the center center of the uploaded picture. Not the results that is wanted. Would like some suggestion on what is cause this. I have tried, deactivating all plugin, with just UM active. Still the same issue. Deactivated UM and reactivated. Still same problem. A person I know uses the plugin and has the same problem but they don’t care because they use gravatars.

    Hi @shygirl51

Could you please try changing the theme with a default WP theme and see if the issue still occurs?

I did try another theme, the profile picture is the same problem.

**Edit: I found the culprit, it wasn’t the UM plugin. After checking all my plugins, one of the plugins had a disable drag & drop check marked, I didn’t know about. After unclicking the check mark, the editing/cropping pictures is working.

Thank you for replying. I should’ve thoroughly checked all the plugins.

    Hi @shygirl51

Could you please tell me the plugin that was the culprit? I’m having the exact same problem as you were experiencing.

    Thanks!

I doubt it will be helpful, it’s an image protection feature on a custom security plugin. It had options like disable right click, prevent drag and drop, enable image protection for logged-in users. I had to uncheck all features and the profile picture editor starting working.
