Edited Orders and Charges to Customers

    This is an overall question, not specific to page.

    If an order is edited after the product has been paid for, will only new charges (such as a fee) be charged to the customer or will the product also be recharged to the customer?

    Hi @ndcadmin,

    This would likely depend on the payment method and it settings. For example if your payment method was set to capture charges immediately, you wouldn’t be able to change the order total and then capture that new amount.

    If your payment method lets you authorize charges you may be able to change the order total and add fees to then capture the new charge without issues. Like I said that all depends on your payment method used. ??

    Yeah, it looks like if the purchase is made, any change to an order’s cost and then re-processing will result in the full order amount being charged. As you say, it’s only if the payment has been received and processed.
