edit_post_link() problem

  • Hello,
    Wp User Frontend overwrite edit_post_link() wordpress function?
    I try to setup WP User Frontend plugin with custom posts.
    When i (as admin) want edit all other posts, “Edit” link open pages with WP User Frontend form, but i use WP USER Frontend only with custom post.
    When i click on edit link i see erorr: “I don’t know how to edit this post, I don’t have the form ID”
    Also i can not edit all other posts.

  • Hi,

    1. As you are clicking on the edit link in frontend dashboard, it will take you to frontend editing feature. To edit a post from backend, you have to do that from back.

    2. You have not set a default form in your settings page. Go to wp-admin → WP User Frontend → Settings → General Options → Default Post Form and set a form that has most common elements.

    but i have thousand not WUF posts, and i don’t want search posts from backend. Its easy for me access (not WUF posts) backend from template link using edit_post_link().
    And edit WUF posts with WUF front end editor.
    Better if WUF editor can edit only WUF posts. Maybe you can add check for WPUF pages?

    I have described how to override the dashboard template and change the edit link.
