edit_post_link on endpoint

    Hi,
    I’m just wondering, what I might be doing wrong with this one:
    I created a webpage for people to register if they want. When registered user logged in to their account, they get to the dashboard.
    So I created another menu-item, which should let users edit their own post. I tried to put a simple edit_post_link tag on the newly created endpoint template.
    But the edit_post_link just won’t show up. What I am doing wrong? what do I have to do instead to get people edit their own post?
    I’m running a beTheme page on WordPress.
