Edit with Elementor will not even load.

I am working on a local install using XAMPP
I have a clean install of WP loaded
I have no other plugins loaded
I am just trying to get the Elementor to work
When I click on the blue button in the edit page that says:
Edit with Elementor, it trys to load, but then the browser window says:
“The connection was reset”
“The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”
