“Edit with Elementor” not working

I’ve used this plugin for years and have loved it, but it no longer lets me edit new templates in Elementor. When I create a new template, then click the “Edit with Elementor” button, it says, “Back to WordPress Editor—Please note that you are switching to WordPress default editor. Your current layout, design and content might break.”

Then there are two buttons: Cancel or Continue. I press Continue, but nothing happens. I also try pressing Cancel, but same thing—nothing happens. I exit back to the main list of AE templates, and I see that my old ones have the text link to “Edit with Elementor”, but the new one I created does not.

Please help! I really need this function to work!
