  • Some here. Worked until v3.0.11. After update to v3.0.12 the link dissapeared in different WordPress installations.

I have same problem here, the button just disappears on Admin bar; have tried all suggestions from https://docs.elementor.com/article/672-the-edit-with-elementor-link-has-disappeared but still no luck

I still haven’t seen Edit with Elementor since I made this post, and I’ve kept the plugin up to date with each new update, lol.

Roll back to 3.0.11 guys, the button will show again. Elementor support told me to stay on 3.0.11 for now, 3.0.12 seems to have a problem

Untick the “also optimize for logged in editors/ administrators” near the bottom of Autoptimize’s main settings screen and all should work.

This worked for me and I haVe Edit with ELEMENTOR button back on my toolbar.

    Thanks

Unchecking that box in autoptmise works

    Having same problem.

    Elementor 3.0.16
    Autoptimize 2.8.1

Ticking autoptimize admin setting did not help.
Jquery migrate helper dit not help.

    Easiest solution for now:
just choose ‘edit page’ instead, and from there press ‘elementor edit’ button

    Hello,
Having the same problem. It started after I updated a few plugins.

    Elementor 3.1.1
    Elementor Pro 3.0.10

And the issue seems to be caused by a conflict with the plugin hummingbird Pro (WPMU).

    Hello @davidr90

I have an updated version of Elementor Pro v3.2.1 and my “edit with elementor” toolbar is still missing from my admin & the frontend of my site when logged in.

Can you please help with this?

    Thank you,
    Nicole

    Hi @blackprintcreative,

You can add the following in Autoptimize, under “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” (if you already have other files/paths excluded, remember to separate it with a comma):
    elementor/assets/js/

It’s not ideal, but it seems to work for now with Elementor Pro 3.1.2.
Maybe someone else is able to find the exact script that is causing issues, or maybe Elementor/Autoptimize will finally find a definitive solution to this issue…

My culprit was the plugin AUTOPTIMIZE

Go to settings page of Autoptimize
Scroll to bottom and UNCHECK this item:

Also optimise for logged in editors/administrators?: By default, Autoptimize is also active for logged on editors/administrators, uncheck this option if you don’t want Autoptimize to optimise when logged in, e.g. to use a page builder.

A similar issue with “Edit with Elementor” link in the admin bar and Autoptimize plugin was resolved when we unchecked the “Also optimize for logged in editors/ administrators?” option in Autoptimize plugin’s General Settings.

No puedo instalar Elementor. Se instaló inicialmente, pero de repente se desinstaló. Ahora, cuando intento instalarlo, dice que ‘La carpeta de destino ya existe’, pero no me aparece en el menú

im on elementor 3.4.2 and elementor pro 3.3.8, autoptimize 2.9.2
i was getting the elementor admin bar js issue. i unticked the option that the ao dev mentioned above and the error went away.
