Edit with Elementor always opens homepage

  • Whenever I click on ‘Edit with Elementor’ in the top toolbar, no matter what page I’m on, it always opens my homepage for editing.

    I’ve tried resaving my permalinks but it didn’t help.

    Do you see any errors in your console log, while clicking on the ‘Edit with Elementor’ plugin?
    (Ctrl Shift J on Windows or Ctrl Option J on Mac)

    Please make sure you are updated to the latest version of Elementor (3.0.14)
    Also, please follow these steps, and let me know if it solved your issue:

    – Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.

    – switch your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen (or other default WordPress theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error.
