Edit “User Email” field fails

    Hi!

    I put an User Email field in my form.

    It displays data fine, but when I change email and save, it does not save correcty.
    The form reports “saved succesfully” message, but the email does not change to the new one.

    What can be wrong?

    Solved:

    My email had a character ACF front did not like, so it did not get saved. I used gmail address “[email protected]”. I guess the form did not like the plus sign.

    Works great without.

    I’m also experiencing this issue using ACF Frontend 3.4.12. My user edit form isn’t saving the user email upon submission. All other field data saves.

    Ok so the issue is validation, there needs to be better validation for the email field. Thank you for letting me know

    @trobinson33 Is your issue also due to a fail in validation?
