Edit This on front page removal

  • How do i remove Edit this post on all pages?
    Logging out doesn’t stop this appearing so anyone could edit
    everything on my site

    Generally ‘edit this’ should only appear on login. Look for it in the following php files under Appearances:

    category.php
    single.php
    archive.php
    page.php

    Hi ive messed up my home page, went to main index php and removed edit this post, tried putting it back in but now the front page is an error page.Can anyone help please?
