I am not very WP savvy, so pardon me for asking… but is it possible for you to elucidate what you mean by “Edit your theme files to replace your post titles by <?php linked_articles_title() ?>”?

I have installed the plugin, and I am now staring at Appearance > Editor > page.php… but I don’t understand what I’m supposed to be editing. Am I to add the string “<?php linked_articles_title() ?>” somewhere in “page.php”? Where do I put it?

(I’m fully aware that I may not be educated enough to be staring at a page of raw PHP, for which I apologize in advance.)

Please ignore that first post — I can’t delete it. I figured out how to get the Linked Articles plugin to work. Thank you!

(I would only suggest that you enhance the installation instructions. I had to Google for hours before I manage to figure out which PHP files to edit, how to use Custom Fields, and what value to place there. I think I was lucky! But I’m also a beginner, so that may be why it required so much effort.)

This is a problem I run into often with WordPress plugins. The plugin may work, but the effort to get it to work can be problematic. A simple 1-2-3 step paragraph with some sample code would be helpful.
