Edit Tags from Manage Posts

I have over 2000 posts but only recently began using tags and dropping my categories. The process for editing tags only on posts is tedious- view posts, click to edit post, edit tags, save, back to list.

It would be efficient to be able to have a nice Ajax-y interface to edit the tags from the Manage Posts screen. The update to the database does not seem (in my limited knowledge) to require a full re-pub.
