    Using Version 5.7.3

I create a recurring event with ticket start and end dates. It works fine.

Then I edit the recurring event. I click to “Modify Recurring Event Tickets”. I fill out “Available from” with 5 days, and “Available until” at 1 days at 5pm, then click ‘Update’.

The ticket_start date gets set to 1969-12-27 00:00:00
The ticket_end date gets set to 1969-12-31 17:00:00

This is not good… I am guessing it has something to do with 1/1/1970 being the epoch time??

And if for example, I have 4 recurring events, 4 records are created in the em_tickets table, all with the same dates above. (each record should have specific ticket dates based on the individual event date)

  • Hello,

I’m sorry that you are running into this issue with the plugin, hopefully we can get this figured out and get you back up and running.

First, just to rule out any outside conflicts can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Yes – I have deactivated ALL plugins except Events Manager, running default theme. Still have the same problem described above.

Okay I’m sorry that the first suggestion didn’t yield the desired solution. Are the event and other dates displaying correctly in other parts of the admin area and on the front-end of the site?

The Event dates are not the problem. It is the ticket start and end dates that get corrupted.

Please try the exact sequence I described in my first post. Again to re-iterate: the ticket dates are stored correctly when I create a recurring event. But when I EDIT the recurring event, there is a BUG – the ticket start and end dates do not get stored correctly, instead some Epoch-based date is stored.

This problem only occurs when editing the Recurring Series. If I edit individual events, the ticket start / end dates are saved correctly.
