Edit profile photos/many are sideways

    We have been using UM and Ultimate Member – Enable Profile Photo in Register form for awhile. It works well BUT often members upload their profile photo sideways. It may not *look* sideways when they upload it, but it comes out that way.

    First choice would be to allow the user to be sure it’s the right way up when they upload, second choice would be for us to easily edit that photo after it’s uploaded. For now all I can do is download it, rotate it in an image editor, and re-upload it. That takes a lot of time….

    Any good options to fix this?

    Hello @ohliza

    Try to enable the option “Change image orientation”. Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Uploads and enable it.

    I can still only replace or remove the photos on the user edit screen, i can’t rotate them.

    I did check that box.
