Edit Profile not working

I have a critical issue: when I enter to edit the profile, after completing all fields when I click on update profile, instead of storing and going back to the profile, it loads the edit profile page again. I have not found a way to solve this, even by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.

I believe it has to do with a previous field that was “magically” removed when I was editing the form and removed other fields, the block where it was just disappeared. Since the field I mentioned earlier was a mandatory field, I believe it is still somehow active, and since no value is entered, the code does not allow to update as there is a mandatory field missing. But this is just my wild guess, not knowing anything about coding,

I already tried the following options:
– creating a new form and replacing it on the page: it returned a message “you are already registered”
– erasing cache on browser and wordpress: no solution
– uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin: no solution

I am desperate, as this is a critical error that makes the page useless. If I can’t solve it then I will have to start from scratch!
