Edit product not showing product code

Regrettably, we had a new developer work on this plugin where the previous one has family down with Covid. We learned later, the new developer butchered (corrupted) the plugin. We are trying to rectify it in any way possible, but the solution may not be quickly forthcoming. We are in process of consulting a new developer to try and press for an expedient result. Thanks for your patience and we are very sorry for the unacceptable performance of an otherwise dependable plugin.

Greetings @andricoder. I am working with the developer and we cannot replicate your issues. It sounds to be more a conflict with your install than a plugin error, although we will not discount that possibility. Unfortunately, your English constructs are convoluted, so is very difficult to glean what the exact nature of your error is by reading your comments. Again, since yours is the only support issue of this nature, we naturally suspect a plugin conflict. We would ask you to disable other WooCommerce add-ons that might be adding custom fields to see what happens. Test this plugin with WooCommerce alone, with no other addon plugins active. Thanks.

@andricoder The plugin has a number of fixes in version 1.2.3, hopefully correcting any problems created by the previous developer. Please create a new support thread with exact details if any further issues are encountered. Thanks!

I have the same issue. I had another module installed but that module has a display issue in products admin, causing the codes to be displayed overlapped with other columns and adding the code vertically. I disabled the other plugin and your plugin does not display the field when editing or duplicating any of the old products. It is only displayed on new products. Did you find any bugs and will be soon solved? Thank you!

The version before 1.2.3 was fully corrupted we did try to fix it in version 1.2.3 but still users are not able to successfully run the upgrade script that change the meta key in database and for the reason product code is not visible on edit or duplication of the product.

For this can you check it out if meta key “_product_code_variant” still exist in your database in table PREFIX_postmeta?

BTW is it only not visible for variable type product or it is also not visible for simple product type?
