    Hi @thomasjanotta,

This seems to be unrelated to Complianz, as deactivating the plugin doesn’t seem to change this. I suspect that this concerns the default Privacy Policy that WordPress creates for you.

Can you verify that within the Complianz Wizard > General > Documents, your Privacy Policy is set to “Generated by Complianz”, and then walk through the Wizard once more, and click Create Pages (Wizard > Documents > Create Documents).

Let me know if that works.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

I went through steps again and selected none, but no difference.

    no problem.

    Hi @thomasjanotta,
Excuse me, I was referring to the Cookie Policy document available in Complianz Free.

If the issue remains while Complianz has been deactivated, this really seems like an issue that is not caused by the plugin. As stated before, WordPress does set a Privacy Policy page by default. So are you perhaps referring to this document, instead of the Complianz Privacy Policy?

As for the Edit Page button not appearing, I’ve seen this occur before when switching between the Classic Editor and Gutenberg. But without knowing all of the other variables, this is a hard one for me to accurately advise on.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Hi, maybe it’s a bit confusing with the wording in DE and EN, there are 3 pages I can assign in the step 2
cookie policy (createable by cmplz free)
    imprint (Impressum) (only pro)
    privacy policy (Datebnschutzerkl?rung) (only pro)

(I have a multisite install with BETHEME theme), and the multisite policy pages are done with the muffin builder and now locked.

    no problem thank you

    Hi @thomasjanotta,

We are not allowed to discuss Premium features on the WordPress Forum, so I can only elaborate on the Cookie Policy here.

I think this has something to do with the page builder that was used to edit the pages. I’ve personally had the “Edit” button disappear before, for instance, when switching between editors/page builders.

Complianz’ Legal Documents cannot be edited with pagebuilders, as that will break the synchronisation and thus make the plugin unable to automatically update the documents. More information can be found here: https://complianz.io/editing-legal-documents/

The best course of action would likely be to remove the current Legal Documents, and to re-generate them in the Complianz Wizard > Create documents.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
