Edit Plus with theme twenty seventeen

    The problem is theme specific. You can set pages and posts in theme options, see here. Some Edit Plus features work, others don’t. It can be viewed here. Look the site by scrolldown, select the page/post in the menu to see the differences.

    If any page is decleared as front-page Edit Plus functions works.

    After getting annoyed at first, I’m happy to help and I also have to give something back. I will use Editor Plus! Editor Plus is very good and works flawlessly in the editor. All functions work fine in the editor. I think that has something to do with the wrapper alone when outside the editor.

    My first guess is that it could be because Twenty Seventeen is not a block theme. But I have yet to investigate it.

    Yeah, Animation is a different issue. I suppose you have another open ticket for that. But these Twenty Twenty seven issues are mostly due to the reason it’s not a block theme. And EditorPlus works best with a block theme.

    Ok I understand. Now I have the problem with my client. Let’s see how I can style the page under a block theme to his satisfaction.

    I’m trying to style the old page in a new Block Theme website (Twenty Twenty-Three) and find out: Editor Plus is available on Pages and Posts but not in the Templates and Template Parts. So no Buttons can be styled in footer like Editor Plus.

    That’s correct the FSE/Site Editor support has not yet been added to EditorPlus.

    This is confusing, on current website with non block theme it works in footer but not on pages/posts.

    Was a wrong assumption on my part.

    The thing was that with Editor Plus I wanted to match the buttons on the pages to those in the footer.
