"edit" permalink on published blog

  • Could someone give me direction on how to remove the “edit” permalink that appears on my blog? Anyone that visits my blogs can access my wp admin page by just clicking the “edit” link. I have deleted my pages in hopes of fixing the issue but anytime I post a new blog the link is back. I would love to get this resolved. Please help

    No they can’t. It’s only available to Admins & Editors who are currently logged into the site. why don’t you log out of your site and see for yourself?

    I have tried that too. I just went to my other computer and pulled up the site and it’s still there

    Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    And make sure that you are logged out.
