Running Theme Satisfy/WP4.8.1 with Events Calendar (free) on localhost (XAMPP/Windows 10)
How can I edit a permalink?
I had pages (i.e. sub-menu items, generated by EC) for “Archives 2013-14” but want to change it to “Archives 2013” with a separate page for “Archives 2014”.
    Code on page: [ecs-list-events past=’yes’ cat=2013 order=’DESC’ limit=20]
Clicking on menu item for any single year, 2011-2014 results in:
“There are no upcoming events at this time”.
When I try to change permalink on either one, it defaults to “Archives 2013-2”.
I then tried deleting pages, emptying trash and adding new page “Archives 2013”. It again defaults to “Archives 2013-2”. Short of re-installing WordPress (lol…I hope) what can I do? Archives 2017, 2016, & 2015 work fine because I started with one page per year!

  • Good afternoon @ncbogroupie,

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

I would recommend not trying to tweak the permalinks of our plugins unless you really know what you are doing because our code heavily relies on proper permalink names.

Secondly, the ecs shortcode is actually not our plugin. If you have specific questions regarding the use and outcome of this plugin, I would recommend contacting the plugin’s author ??

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
