Edit pages = high CPU usage

I have some sort of bug associated with rolescoper. If I deactivate all plugins except rolescoper, editing a page or post is impossible, any attempt to click something will take about 1 minute and 1 core of my CPU is maxxed. Im running 4.0 of wordpress, is this the cause?
I see theres a new plugin called Press Permit, theres a migration advisor that seemed to show some settings would be auto imported, I installed PP and deactivated rolescoper but the roles didnt seem to import, all my users then gained access to edit the whole site. How do I do the import of the RS settings?
