Edit Page on HTML Tab Squirrely

  • When I attempt to edit a page (Using IE8) on the HTML tab it acts squirrely and always jumps to the top of the page after each key stroke I make. This is particularly purterbing when my page has alot of HTML code: I continually have to scroll back down to the location of my edit over and over again.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – using IE9
