Edit not available for original post only comments/replies

Can you please check by switching the theme to wordpress default theme? Please let us know if the issue persists with the default theme too.

I changed to twentyninteen and had the same results. You can edit comments but not main post.

I have tested this on multiple themes and limited any other plugins with the same results. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have both active options active. I found the issue but it still directly relates to your plugin. Maybe you can advise me on what I need to change to make this work? I am using Youzer with BuddyPress and they are using custom post actions. They believe your plugin may be restricted to the default buddypress post action ‘activity_updates’. If I disable the Youzer plugin and create a new post I get the edit option and it stays available even when Youzer is reactivated. But if I create a post with Youzer active I do not get the option at all even after disabling their plugin. Any advice would be appreciated as the edit option is a requirement for this site.

It looks like Youzer plugin is conflicting with the buddypress activity edit. We would like to tell you that there are thousands of plugins out there and we cannot test and provide full integration with every one of them. We do not provide support for third-party plugins.
So you should contact Youzer plugin authors to report this issue.

Hello again. Youzer said they cannot help me and I should contact you. All I am asking is if you can tell me where in your plugin I can change it to see more than the default post action (ie add a custom post type) or remove the restriction if possible, so I can make these two work together. Surprisingly, there are no other plugins out there that I can find that offer this feature and buddypress itself does not (which I do not understand at all).
