Edit Mode UI – error with text tab

  • This error is happening on all of my Bold Page Builder sites.

    When using the front-end Edit Mode UI, when I click on a text item and switch the edit interface to Text (instead of Visual) and then NOT switch that tab back to Visual before leaving, clicking on any other text field actually copies the text from the previous text item onto that text field. (I had thought that the interface just wasn’t properly switching to the new field, but it’s actually rewriting the content ON CLICK.

    If I click from Visual to Text and then back to Visual before I leave the field, it works fine. But that’s a BIG issue, especially if you don’t notice that it happened and before you know it you’ve messed up all of the content on a page. I have to train clients how to use this, and they are already not experienced developers, so adding this step is not ideal, given the possible unintended result.
