Edit meta tags – description and keywords

    How do I edit the meta-tags, specifically description and keywords in Weaver?

    I tried installing a separate plug-in – SEO meta tags – but this simply added a second set of meta tags in addition to those auto-generated by Weaver.

    I can’t find anywhere to edit these in the Weaver dashboard. Do I just add new meta tags to the HEAD section on the advanced options tab? If I do this, will they replace the automatic tags?

  • These are found on the Advanced Options page in the Site Options section. If you want to use a SEO plugin, then check the box telling Weaver that you are doing that.

    Thanks! I had missed the option under Advanced Options. :oD

    I didn’t want to use a plugin – I just did because I didn’t think I could edit them in the theme. The check-box is good to know about in case we do wish to use one in the future. Thanks again.
