Edit Listing Problem again

I’m back again. Having the same issue with the plugin that I did a year ago but on a different website. I was hoping it had been corrected. I was able to isolate the problem last time with the plugin and had a developer correct it.
When I add a listing, and use either an apostrophe ” ‘ ” or a forward slash ” / ” in the title name, the directory quits working. It wont let me add or edit a listing. During development of a new site, I had instructed the client not to use those characters until I could get it resolved but she forgot, and now it’s not working correctly. I’ve gone through each listing within the database to remove the characters yet it still wont work. When I click on a listing to edit it, the URL i get is /admin.php?page=edit_business_in_directory&id=279, which from the last time this was happening looks correct but a 404 is showing.

When I click on find listing for AAA Storage, this is the URL – https://roysecitychamber.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=edit_business_in_directory&id=279If you create a listing using those characters, this is when it stops working. I no longer have access to the developers that corrected last time so now I’m at lost trying to correct the rroblem.
