    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, TablePress does not support frontend editing. Tables can only be edited by logged-in users on the “Edit” screen of the table.

There seems to be a commercial Extension at https://codecanyon.net/item/tinyeditor-frontend-editor-for-tablepress/11442740 that claims that it can do this (I have not tested it and don’t have an affiliation with it). The comments do mention some drawbacks though.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thanks very much for your reply. Really appreciate that.

I might consider buying this and test it.

    Suggestion:
You can develop the same plugin and sale it isnt? or you can integrate front end editing option as premium feature and charge for it.

If you are planning to do it soon, I will wait or else I will buy that plugin.

    Thanks
    Nizam

    Hi,

no, sorry, I do not have plans to develop an Extension for that at the moment. If at all, I’d want it to be at least as good as the interface on the “Edit” screen, but I do see several challenges there, which is why I’m hesitant to doing this.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
