Edit Image tags in theme

    My website is at https://kevinhawkinsphotography.com
    I’m running Village theme by ThemeForest.
    Village gives the option to include title text in image galleries which is then used as alt text by search engines.
    I’d like to have more control over my title and alt text as there is very little text content on website and I need to maximise for SEO.

    I’ve been told I can edit image tags using the gallery_template.php file, but I don’t understand the coding conventions for this theme and have very limited experience with code. Probably the process is very simple, but I just need to have some guidance on where to enter the code, tag formats etc.

    Your theme is a premium theme with its own support platform and custom functionality. You should contact the theme authors on their support forum.
    You will need to log in to access the forums.

    Ok, thanks for your suggestion. Support at ThemeForest actually does not extend to customisation. Will try to find professional backup!
