From your dashboard go to Settings–>Reading. Beside “For each article in a feed, show” click summary. See if that works for you

The option thegrassroot referred to is for feeds (For each article in a feed, show: full text / summary).

This is not a bug, it’s how theme is supposed to work. You can either add “more” tag to all your posts or copy content.php to your child theme folder and in line 22 replace the_content with the_excerpt.

Is there a way to include the featured image in that preview? For example, for each blog it would show:

summary

Slobodan, the most recent update to 1.0.3 removed this fix. My content.php file looks like this:
