• Folks, I know very little about coding, and I’d like to edit the H1 tags on my website. Do I do it thru my WP Dashboard? If not, what’s an easy way for me to do that?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

No. Search engines figure that out for themselves. They no longer use “meta keyword” tags. Heading elements are to structure your content.

It depends on the theme and the theme author. Each theme is different. Not having an H1 tag will not break your site. It is just a way to indicate that a header is very important to your site. if you have an h2 tag it means it is important but not as important as the h1. It is not a requirement it just lets search engines understand what you consider this header as being important. Your page has an H1 so if you are happy with what it telling the search engines you should be ok.

yeah if that one h1 serves the whole site it’s way too broad, see I was totally wrong,

how do I define each page then, like these two pages, I show the text I’d want to use to define the page, I can add more defining kewyword text if needed

    asian gazebo pavilion kits https://woodsshop.com/kits/gazebo-pavilion-kits/
    asian gazebo plans https://woodsshop.com/product/azumaya-japanese-gazebo-plans/

I need to do this to at least all my Kits, and Plans pages maybe 30+ pages, not a big deal but only I really know what words I’m targeting.

I’ve already been able to add a lot of alt text to each of these pages, but that’s it. I could just copy some of that alt text easy enough.

My seo scores are terrible and I’m trying to change that, with my limited and out of date knowledge.
