Hi. Would it be possible to have an upload button whilst the administrator or person who created the gallery has the gallery open. If adding photo’s to the gallery on a regular basis it would be great to be able to add from inside the open gallery (ftp folders) as opposed to the wordpress dashboard. This would be extremely useful.
    Kind Regards

  • I am not sure what you mean here unfortunately. The WordPress admin area is definitely the preferred way to upload images, but you can add images via FTP. If you add more images via FTP, you still have to visit the WordPress admin area to get those images added to the gallery.

Ok. I was hoping the upload could have been done from the front end of the gallery instead from the admin dashboard.
    Kind Regards

Sunshine is not intended for a front-end system where users submit photos, it is a tool for photographers to sell to their existing clients. This is just out of scope of what Sunshine is aiming for. Maybe one day I would create an add-on which does this, but something like that is nowhere on the road map right now.

Ok thanks. Thinking forward I would look forward to the add-on to enable logged in Administrator to have this function, it would be useful.
Kind Regards. (BTW, the plugin is awesome ) ??

If you have a logged in admin, they can just add it from the admin area. I would not make an add-on that duplicates existing functionality.
