• Hello,

I cannot find the footer text that I want to change.

I have searched other threads and checked these things already:

    • There is no footer.php file in my theme
    • There is no default footer
    • There is no encoded or hidden code
    • There is no get_footer function in functions.php

I am using a theme from Themeza called #10.

Each page calls get_footer() but this is not defined anywhere that I can find. When I delete it, it removes the footer, but I just want to change the text.

My Site is proudly powered by WordPress
    Entries (RSS) and Comments (RSS).

I have searched for any sort of eval/decode. I have gone through every file in the themes/themeza_wp_10 folder and everything looks clean. I don’t see any funny business.

So, I would like to edit the text and links in my footer, but I cannot find where it is hiding.

Any ideas where I can search?

  • If this is a free theme, please post a link to its download site.

    Thanks for the reply.

It was a free theme provided by my web host.

So, I went to the designer site to download it and it does in fact have a footer.php file. So this is very curious why my web host would remove the footer file.

It still begs the question where the text is coming from.

I have done a search on my entire directory and cannot find it anywhere.

    Very strange.

I am going to investigate this with my host and I’ll let you know what I find.

So when I uploaded the theme, I was able to change the footer. It is very strange that my web host would have a missing file. I’ve been with them for 15 years, so I trust them. It was probably an issue with the Elefante Installer.

    I appreciate the help.
