I’ve been using Edit Flow for 6 months now. Typically, wherever a “status” is changed or an editorial comment is left……every user that has been added to the “Notification Subscriptions” for that post is notified via email.

As of yesterday, the notification emails are not sent anymore?

I have all the notification settings turned on….and haven’t changed anything to do with Edit Flow for months now.

Please advise. We manage a site with 40 authors and this is our main point of communication to keep articles moving thru the content production.

    Thanks. Trevor Turnbull

If you haven’t changed anything (e.g. upgrade or settings), then this is possibly a problem with another plugin or your server.

Have you installed new plugins recently, or do you know of any server work that might’ve been done? Alternatively, are the emails getting caught in your spam filter?

Ya….no upgrades or setting changes. And, no new plugins installed recently.

I’ve checked my spam filters as well…..nothing.

I’ll have to check and see if our hosting company did any server work.

But, essentially….nothing was changed….just stopped working.

I’d file a ticket with your hosting company then. If no code changed, it’s unlikely the code is the culprit ??

Just fired them an email…..will have to wait and see.

@trevorturnbull any updates on your end?

    Hey Daniel,

Thanks for the follow up. I did hear from our host and they did do some server work. We couldn’t figure out the problem…then all of a sudden I started receiving email notifications from all forms on the website (over 300+).

Told them (WP Engine) and this is what they said:

“Ah! We had a temporary problem reported by our SMTP provider SendGrid but they resolved the issue over the weekend.”

    So….all is good ??

Awesome, glad to hear you found a fix ?? The easiest problems to solve are the ones you don’t have to do any work for ??
