‘Edit File’ link not found

    Hi! I was suggested to edit the robots.txt file by using Yoast SEO. I have the advanced settings enabled, but when I click on “Tools” I cannot see the “File Editor” link. It has disappeared. How can I solve this?

    Hi Nicole,

    Is your site a multisite? We ask as sometimes the robots.txt file is only accessible via a Network Administration role rather than an administrator role. If you are not sure what role you have OR if your site is a multisite we suggest speaking with your host provider.

    If you are a Network Admin and your site is a multisite you can access the robots by going to My Sites (top left)->Network Admin->Dashboard->SEO->Edit Files
