    Hello,

I am coming to finish my first dev phase of this useful plugin. I am struggling to work out where the edit link at the bottom of the event page is getting the correct URL from. I have taken the site as a clone from an dev URL, and the edit link continues to try to link back to this first dev site. I have looked around, and the site is generally setup ok for the URL of the site, so I am struggling to find where Events manager is getting this URL info from. Could you advise please. Many Thanks

if you set your single events page to post under Events > Settings > Pages > Events Page then I think wordpress is the one who set it since EM uses custom post type ‘event’

Yes,I realised my front-end only plugin was redirecting to the old URL site. So when clicking edit, and the page trying to go to the backend to edit the event, then the re-direct was taking place. Guess I will have to hide that with css, as users will find this confusing. I would like an “Edit” button on the page though. Is there any documentation to add an “edit event” link button on an Event page?

    Thanks

If the front-end plugin you’re using is referencing the user_capabilities correctly, you’ll probably find the link isn’t visible to users who don’t have editing permissions.
