So if I change a page created with elementor to classic editor, I do see the page content in the classic editor’s text format and can edit it, save it, and switch back to elementor editor but my changes don’t actually update the elementor page.

I wanted to update a bunch of HTML code widgets and thought it might be faster to do a simple search and replace in a text editor since many of the changes were all the same.

However, it doesn’t seem like the elementor page actually updates with the changes made on the classic editor? Or was it just not showing up because of the cache?

Is there a way to do this? Edit in classic editor, save the page, go back into elementor editor and have the changes made in classic editor show up?

I’m a little confused why the content is even in classic editor if you can’t edit it and have those edits show up but it may be that the elementor “content” is stored in two separate places so it gets added to classic editor and elementor so it updates from elementor but doesn’t get updated from classic editor to elementor.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks
