    Hi @postsee172

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

Our plugin does not send a welcome email but a confirmation email (and it may be adjusted based on the gateway used).

Inside the Email Templates settings you may disable the Checkout email templates as you linked to – if you have a paid level the template may be paid.

We no longer have HTML emails but store the content via PHP and the database to allow translations and such.

Can you tell me more about your checkout? What payment gateway are you using?

Yah but I am not trying to disable ” membership confirmation email” which the user receives after checkout.
I want to disable the “welcome email” which has subject like this

    [< site name>] Welcome!

    and reads as follows:

    Welcome to < site name>!

Visit your profile, where you can tell us more about yourself, change your preferences, or make new connections, to get started: < profile link>

Forgot your password? Don’t worry, you can reset it with your email address from this page of our site: < forgot password URL>

(Let me know if you need more details)

I don’t recognize this email as part of Paid Memberships Pro. It may be due to another plugin that has it’s own registration email when a user registers for WordPress.

There is an option to include the default WordPress registration email under the Memberships > Email Settings > Other Email Settings. Please make sure this is unchecked.
