Edit Dashboard Post Page and Admin? Please help!

  • How can I edit the Post Page words and Admin Stuff?

    I want to change the top where it says “Howdy: YOUR NAME”

    And also, I went to WP-Admin Folder and edited some files to change the word

    1. “Post Tags”
    2. “Add a New Tag”
    3. “Choose from the most used tags in Post Tags”

    TO

    1. “Cities”
    2. “Add a new City”
    3. “Choose from an existing City”

    But it never changed…. I changed it from everywhere. why doesn’t it work?

  • Don’t amend core WordPress files unless you really, really, know what you’re doing. I’d suggest that you restore the original files and then look into creating custom taxonomies.
