Edit credit fields within post

    This is a great plugin but wondering how can we add the credit fields to the area where we edit an image within a post? Such as when I place an image in a post and I click to edit the image directly, how can we get the credit fields to show up within the image’s edit box to apply the credit locally without having to go back into the media library to edit the image? Is there a way to do this?

    You can do that when you insert the image in your post the first time (see https://vedovini.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/better-credits-edit-post-add-media-screenshot.png) but once you inserted the image, if you edit this (using the small pencil icon that appears when you hover over the image) you are not actually editing the image in the library but the way it’s inserted into your post.

    For example if you edit the title tag, caption or alt text here you are not not changing them in the library. And although it makes sense you can change those things locally into your post, the credits don’t change depending on what post you insert the image in.

    Oh yes, this makes complete sense. For some reason I was thinking about the local edit box but when you click into the original image to be added for a first time issue on a post or do a replace image, this is where the field can be edited without having to leave the post.
