edit-comments.php suddenly only displaying one comment/spam at a time

  • This has started happening in the last couple of days, out of nowhere. My edit-comments.php only displays one comment or piece of spam at a time, whereas before it listed all pending or spam in a nice row so I could go through easily.

    Now, I have to it one-by-one, clicking on pending or spam again each time I’ve approved (or deleted), which can take forever. I like to check my spam for errors Askimet has made but if I have 100+ in their it’s a real pain to go through them now.

    Any thoughts? Are there any known plugins that clash with the admin part of comment editing? Thanks.

    I’ve subsequently noticed that my ‘reply’ button no longer works in edit-comments.php either, although it is functional on the dashboard.

    Any thoughts? This is most curious and really quite restrictive. Thanks.

    Too many to list, but nothing too radical. I’ve tried de-activating the latest ones and it hasn’t made a lick of difference, which seems strange as I’ve only had this problem a little while.

    I was having this exact same problem.. I deactivated all of my plugins (only use about 7) and comments displayed again in admin area…

    After slowly reactiving the plugins, I found that a plugin “Viper’s Video Quicktags” was the culprit… I had been using this plugin forever so you should try deactivating older plugins too…… because it became a recent issue even though it had worked al this time…
