edit comment reply to

Hello.
Recently, I have discovered that a lot of people that are new to blogs, when want to write a comment they click reply to a random comment. I want to edit the comment, and change the comment from being a reply to an other comment, to being a comment of its own, however I see there is no such feature.
Is there a way to do this ?
